About Black Love and Coffee

Black Love in between the Pages…

The idea for Black Love and Coffee, which was originally called Black Love and Supernatural, started from my love of reading supernatural and fantasy and historical romance books. The only problem with those subgenres of romance was that I had a difficult time finding books that mixed black love with supernatural, fantasy, and paranormal.

So, Black Love and Coffee was created to highlight, celebrate, and have a list of Black Love in supernatural, fantasy, paranormal, and historical romance novels that are written by black authors.

This is a place for readers to come together and talk about books or simply read someone else’s opinion on a book.

In order for a book to be listed on this blog, they must meet three requirements:

  1. The author of the book is of African Descent (native and diaspora).
  2. The main characters in the book that are romantically involved with each other must be of African Descent, period.
  3. The book includes romance.

*As many books as possible will be included in this blog, but for religious reasons, some books will be excluded.

….Coffee on the Table

I hate coffee.

There, I said it. #TeamTea

So, why name the blog Black Love and Coffee?

Simple:

  1. It is a catchy name.
  2. It is a great way to highlight Black Own coffee shops and Coffee brands around the world.
  3. Also, this is a great way to introduce coffee-beginners to the world of coffee.
