If you don’t like the bitter taste of coffee, then caramel macchiato is for you! It’s a sweet, caramel coffee. Perfect for the summer or winter.
And, if you like bread, a butter croissant would taste wonderful with it.
Ingredients
- Caramel Sauce – enough to drizzle on the top
- Milk – 1 cup (240 mL) – Steamed Milk (for hot) and Cold Milk (for iced)
- Vanilla – 1-2 tablespoon (15 mL- 30mL)
- Ice Cubes (for iced)-3-4 cubes
- Espresso – 1-2 shots (1 -2 ounce or 30- 60 mL)
- You can use very strong coffee or brewed instant espresso powder coffee instead.
Hot Caramel Macchiato in the Winter
- Prepare the Espresso.
- Steam the Milk. (If you don’t know how to steam milk, click here to find out.)
- add Vanilla into your mug.
- add Steamed Milk.
- add Espresso (Shots! Shots!)
- Drizzle Caramel Sauce on top.
- If you are talented, you can make artwork!

Iced Caramel Macchiato in the Summer
Similar to the Hot Caramel Macchiato. Instead, add Cold Milk & add Ice! (Ice, Ice Baby!)
- Prepare the Espresso.
- add Vanilla into your mug.
- add Ice Cubes.
- add Cold Milk.
- add Espresso (1 Shot! 2 Shots!)
- Drizzle Caramel Sauce on top.
